Hero Sunday - October 31
Every nation has its heroes. Join us as we celebrate the different tastes, cultures, and heroes of the world.
All children are encouraged to come in their costumes. We will have special activities during GranadaKids! time. After the services, they can explore our Hero Scavenger hunt where they will learn about all kinds of international heroes and gather candy. Each person they visit will teach them about their awesome hero history and of course, remind us that Jesus is the one TRUE HERO!
Games, bounce houses, music and fun await!
We will have international food sampling provided by you! Sign up to bring a food dish from your country of origin by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We encourage you to share the yummy treats that remind you of your hometown with your Granada family.

GranadaU Speaker Event: Exploring the Hidden Life of Relationships
Life is hard – allow us to make it easier for you!
Welcome to a new branch of GranadaU: monthly Saturday speaker events designed to help you thrive.
We are excited to partner with various leaders in the community that are experts in their respective fields. We have set up monthly opportunities for you to come to Granada and learn from them – all covered by Granada and at no cost to you! Every event will tackle an important part of our lives ranging from nutrition, to relationships, to finances and more.
Our FIRST GranadaU speaker event, Exploring the Hidden Life of Relationships, will be Saturday, November 6 from 9:30-11am in the Fellowship Hall. We will have light snacks and coffee.
This workshop will examine how relationship patterns develop through the behaviors of everyone involved, how to get clear about your part in those patterns, and what you might do about it. We will discuss how working on relationships means examining, and making changes for oneself.

Flourish Community Groups
In community groups, people get together for 7-8 weeks in 2 different group cycles each year. Groups typically have 12-14 adults and meet in members’ homes or at church. The topics of study and discussion are written by the pastor and follow his weekly sermons. We share life, bear each other’s burdens, and participate in service opportunities.
Our next community group series begins Sunday, September 19! You will be able to join a 7-week group that will go through the Flourish series.
Flourish was created to take us through what a life in Christ looks like based on our individual spiritual pathways. We’ll explore how the Gospel makes us thrive, grow, and reach others. The material will cover the book of Colossians. Don’t miss it!
Classes begin on Sunday, September 19 and run for 12 weeks.
GranadaU is a unique opportunity for you to participate in classes of different topics during a semester-style period. Each class will be led by Granada pastors and leaders. All classes are at 10 am, perfectly in between services so you can either stay late or arrive early to attend class, depending on the service time you choose.

Cafecito Time in Between Services
One of our favorite traditions at Granada, “Cafecito Time,” was removed when the pandemic began. Now, after a year of drastic change and new procedures and advancements, we are able to bring this precious time back to our Sunday mornings.
Our Spanish ministry gets together early in the church kitchen to cut fruit, slice and toast bread, and prepare the most delicious “Cafe con Leche” you’ve ever had. We are so grateful for the volunteers that make this time possible. These treats are served at 10:30 am in between services so that you may either stay late or arrive early to fellowship with other Granada attenders that you may otherwise not get a chance to meet.
This time is held outdoors in our Courtyard patio located inside the campus in between the Fellowship Hall and the Sanctuary. Join us!
Granada now speaks Portuguese!
The Granada Portuguese Ministry has been created to support, serve, and love the large Brazilian community in South Florida and those who culturally identify with the Portuguese language.
You are welcome to join us:
- Bible Study & Worship on Sundays at 11 am
- Time of Prayer on Sundays at 12:30 pm
Share your Testimony!
One of the most beautiful things to listen to as believers is the stories of how our friends and families came to Christ. This summer we are excited to bring you video testimonies from our church family.
If you feel called to share your coming-to-faith story, how Granada has impacted your life, or an answered prayer that changed your life, please contact tatiana@granadachurch.
We can’t wait to hear the ways in which God has moved your heart!
