Volunteer at GranadaOur ministries are made possible by volunteers in our Granada Church family.
Sharing Chefs is a mercy ministry that provides meals for church members who may be sick, returning home from the hospital, or have fallen upon other circumstances that make it burdensome to prepare their own meals. This ministry consists of volunteers who enjoy cooking and serving others in this capacity. Sharing Chefs is a great ministry for friends and families to serve together!
If you are interested in joining the ministry as a chef, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. You don’t have to be a restaurant-quality chef to serve — a willing heart is the most important factor! Even if you only have one recipe you like to make, you are welcome to participate and your efforts will be appreciated. The time commitment for this ministry is very flexible. Volunteers are not required to serve every time a need arises — only as they are willing and able.
If you attend Granada and are in need of meals, please email email@example.com.
Praise & Worship Team
The 11:11 AM worship service is led by a praise and worship team. Times of worship are led by 2-3 vocalists and a small band. Members participate on a rotating basis. Music is chosen that will glorify our God, not ourselves. If you are interested in singing or playing an instrument on this team, please contact Eileen Miglio at firstname.lastname@example.org
You can help the homeless and needy with a fresh start in life by providing them with personal care items! Living on the street, in a car, or in an abandoned building is tough and even life-threatening. Think about the simple things, like not being able to bathe or brush your teeth. Can you imagine what a luxury a clean pair of socks would be? Let’s make a difference by filling a Hope Tote today! Pick up a tote (and a few for your friends) by the courtyard and return it to us by March 25th.
Miami Rescue Mission – Foot Washing
Friday, March 30th // 9am-1pm // Every year we head out to the Miami Rescue Mission for their “Thanksgiving on Good Friday” outreach. In addition to a wonderful meal, homeless and needy men, women, and children are able to have their feet washed by us and cared for by Barry University’s podiatry program. Registration is due by March 25th. Contact Sandy@granadachurch.com.
Singing Praises with the Choir
The Heritage Singers want you! Each Wednesday evening at 7pm, the choir joins voices in song in preparation for Sunday’s 9:30 worship service. If you are a long-time member of the choir or are interested in joining, please contact Dennis at email@example.com and come for rehearsal as we prepare to lead in worship each Sunday.
